33 dairy complexes and farms were reconstructed in Chernigov region
210,5 thousand tons of milk was produced at the agricultural enterprises of Chernigov region for 11 months; that is 4.2% more than in the corresponding period in 2015 (in Ukraine there was an increase of 1.3%).
This was told about by the Deputy Director of the Department of agricultural development of Chernigov regional state administration Oleg Krapivny in the interview to «Governmental courier».
The production of beef and poultry increased by 1,1%, which also exceeds the average value in the country. Now nearly 20 investment projects in the livestock industry are being implemented in Chernigov region. Over the last 6 years 33 complexes and farms for the production of milk for 11.68 thousand cows, 4 pig farms for 6588 heads and one in poultry for 50 thousand heads were built and renovated.
During 2016 4 sites for 1150 of dairy cattle were put in operation in Bahmach, Priluki, Kulikovka, Semenovka districts.
