The price of Extra Grade milk rose by 5.1%

 

As of the end of November 2023, raw milk in Ukraine rose in price by 0.56 UAH on average. Purchase prices continue to rise under the influence of the shortage of raw milk in the domestic market and the activation of demand for raw milk by producers of fresh dairy products and cheese makers, who are focused on meeting the needs of the domestic market, — reports the analyst of the Association of Milk Producers, Georgy Kukhaleishvili.

The average purchase price of Extra Grade milk as of November 25 was 14.30 UAH/kg without VAT, which is 0.73 UAH higher than a month ago. The price range for this grade in farms varies from 13.80 to 14.80 UAH/kg without VAT. The lower limit of the price range increased by 0.67 UAH, and the upper limit increased by 0.80 UAH for the last month.

The Higher Grade costs 13.80 UAH/kg on average without VAT. Over the last month, the price of this grade has increased by 0.73 UAH. Prices for Higher Grade milk range from 13.80 to 14.80 UAH/kg without VAT. The lower limit of the price range increased by 0.67 UAH, and the upper limit — by 0.80 UAH.

The average price of Grade I amounted to 13.15 UAH/kg without VAT and increased by 0.23 UAH compared to the results of previous monitoring. The minimum price in farms was 12.80 UAH/kg, which is 0.53 UAH higher than a month ago. The maximum price for Grade I was 13.50 UAH/kg, which is 0.18 UAH more compared to previous monitoring.

Accordingly, the weighted average price of the three grades amounted to 13.92 UAH/kg without VAT and increased by 0.56 UAH.
