A Canadian—American farm will be opened in Ukraine
Deputy Director on cattle breeding of the agricultural enterprise named after Franco Dmitry Samsonenko said that a modern Canadian—American farm with appropriate technology for housing cows is being built in Gorokhov district of Volyn region. This is stated on the website of the Department of agroindustrial development of Volyn regional state administration.
All the animals on the farm are kept free in well ventilated premises. One of the most pressing issues in the agricultural sector today is the adoption of new standards of milk quality.
Director of the Department of agroindustrial development Yury Gorbenko noted that the state and regional budget provides funds for the implementation of programs to support the livestock industry and stimulate the improvement of milk quality on farms.
The prospect of development of agricultural production is for farms and large-scale enterprises, which are able to produce high quality products. Farmers need to identify all livestock, as subsidies will be provided only for identified animals.
The representative of the Czech experimental farm, LLC «Shaumann Agri» Jan Rousek noted that due to the introduction of subsidies and identification of farm animals there has begun the reform of the livestock industry in Poland and the Czech Republic.
