This was announced by Deputy Minister of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine on European integration Olga Trofimtseva in an interview.

According to her, the good news is that Ukraine opens new markets in a diversified way, it is working «on all fronts».

So, for the 2016−2017 there was opened and recovered the exports to the EU (dairy products), China (dairy products, beef), Israel (pet food), United Arab Emirates (poultry meat and products thereof, beef, sheep meat and products thereof), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (poultry meat and products thereof), Egypt (beef), Hong Kong (table egg), Montenegro (poultry, honey), Serbia (poultry), Bosnia and Herzegovina (poultry), Lebanon and Tunisia (poultry meat and products thereof).

«One of the most important is a beef market of China. The next step is the signing of the protocols, there is an understanding at the state level. China is a market of opportunities. I hope that before the end of the year we will have developed protocols with Chinese colleagues on beet pulp and sunflower meal. We have already been initialed, but need to see it to the end», said Trofimtseva.

The Deputy Minister also said that today trade with Morocco is being developed. Do not forget that entered the Agreement on free trade zone with Canada came into force.

«This is purchasing able market for those who are interested in organic products», — said the expert on European integration issues.

She added that despite the fact that Ukraine has certain large strategic partners, like the EU, it still needs to look for more profitable markets and new customers.

«In September trade mission to India, where there is an interest in importing legumes. The next «in focus» are South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan. They are small countries but the population has large purchasing power. There we can sell high quality processed niche products» — summed up Olga Trofimtseva.
